Tactile Ink

Tactile Ink combines the best qualities of procedural textures with the artistic control of a painting application. The paints in Tactile Ink can be procedural or bitmap based. The procedural paints have the ability to combine intelligently with the underlying surface. In other words, you no longer have to think about painting textures a channel at a time (color, specular, bump/normal, etc.) but can focus on painting fully defined materials. This all happens in a real-time shaded environment.
Tactile Ink has been in development for approximately 3 years and is currently in beta.
